Asda London: Supermarket chain opens new shop in the capital

Asda opened its latest London Express store last week as it increases the presence of its convenience-style stores in the city.
Late last year, the supermarket giant unveiled its plans to open a series of smaller scale stores across the capital. It follows the launch of its first London Express store in 2022.

Hide AdAt the time, 15 London locations were announced, with five having opened around the city throughout November and December.
The first London Express of 2024 has now opened its doors and is a part of 109 former convenience stores across the country that were acquired from the Co-op and EG Group and have been transformed by Asda.

The Asda Express store opening in London in February
The east London residential district of Bow welcomed a new Asda Express store last week. Located on Bow Street, the convenience-style store opened on Friday (February 2).

Hide AdAs reported by The Standard, the new store is one of 10 stores that London is set to welcome this year. While opening dates for the remaining nine are yet to be announced, the publication hinted they could be open before the end of March.
