Emirates is looking for people from across the UK to join its cabin crew and Londoners looking for a change in career or a new job opportunity afforded four different open day dates in the city. The open days come as more airline carriers look to hire more cabin crew staff with travel continuing to return to normality after the Covid-19 outbreak.

Some of the perks of becoming a Emirates cabin crew member include concession travel not only through Emirates but with those part of inter-airline agreements and layover expenses paid. Other benefits include furnished accommodation provided free of charge in Dubai and 30 days paid leave.

Writing about the job role of being a cabin crew member, Emirates asks potential employees if they ever “dream of waking up in Rio de Janeiro, exploring the sights of Sydney, and sampling the food of Singapore? If you do, then join Emirates as cabin crew and see the world as part of your career.”

“Many of our cabin crew describe the role as the best job in the world, not only because they deliver award-winning service at 38,000 feet, but also for the unique lifestyle that comes with the job.”

The average monthly wage that an Emirates cabin crew member receives is £2280 tax free, which is based on being a crew member for economy class passengers, however those who are successful in applying will be required to emigrate to Dubai for training purposes.

Successful applicants will also be required to open a bank account in the UAE due to wages being paid in UAE dirhams, and men and women cannot share accommodation unless they are married due to the UAE being an Islamic country.
