Taylor Wimpey gifts donation to toddler group in Bordon
Taylor Wimpey South Thames has made a £200 donation to Toddler Tuesdays, for the purchase of new construction toys at the playgroup near its Bordon development, Duke’s Quarter.
Based at The Shed, Toddler Tuesdays provides a safe space for parents and toddlers to get stuck into a variety of activities and projects such as arts and crafts sessions, cake decorating, soft play and movie sessions, at no cost. With over 30 children in each session, Toddler Tuesdays welcomes children under four years old along with their parents to provide fun activities for the children and offer relief and refreshments for parents.
The team at Taylor Wimpey South Thames made the donation dedicated to the purchase of construction themed toys. Some of the toys purchased include toy trucks and diggers, toy hammers and even PPE items such as hard hats and hi vis vests.
Dayne Cartwright, Managing Director at The Shed said: “We wanted to thank Taylor Wimpey for this generous donation. We were in need of new toys, and to see the reaction of the children at the playgroup once they arrived made it so worthwhile.
“The kids were so happy and feedback from parents has been great. We look forward to seeing the children play with their newest toys and seeing how much fun they have. ”
Louise Adams, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey South Thames, said: “Toddler Tuesdays provides a vital space for children and parents throughout Bordon and Whitehill. The opportunities it offers are crucial and we’re proud to have been able to gift the playgroup with a donation.
“At Taylor Wimpey we make it a priority to support organisations in the communities we build and Toddler Tuesdays is no different. We’re glad to hear the children at Toddler Tuesdays are enjoying the construction themed toys and we wish them all the very best in any upcoming activities.”
