Our village in the City
LIving in Pitshanger, it really lives up to it's reputation as having a Village feeling. Known as Pitshanger Village, the reputation lives up to the name
Pitshanger Lane, therwise known as Pitshanger village is located in the Borough of Ealing in West London.
Ealing has been known as The Queen of The Suburbs and benefits from over 180 green leafy parks.
Pitshanger Lane has Pitshanger Park, Cleveland Park and Perivale Park all within a short walk away.

Part of the attraction of Pitshanger Lane is that the majority of the retail units are independent with the exception of two Coops and a Costcutter which are franchised so privately owned. As well as the Lane we have one of the best and most sought after primary schools in the Borough making it a very desirable place to live.
There is a real sense of community in the Lane and a walk to a local shop invariably takes quite a while as I meet and chat with many shop keepers and residents who are either out shopping, going for something to eat in the many food outlets or maybe visiting one of the beauty/ hairdressing salons.
On the rare occassion that a unit is vacated, we know that it will only be a short time until a new owner takes up the space.
Every year there are community events such as Light Up The Lane when the Lane is closed to traffic and the road is filled with stalls, a stage which features performances from the local dance school and the many singers who live in and near Pitshanger.
