Menopause is a normal part of life, but many women find the symptoms very hard to cope with. It can have a significant impact on women’s mental health, because it affects your mood, your sleep and in some cases, your concentration and memory. It’s not surprising that HRT is becoming more popular as women look to treat these symptoms, as well as physical symptoms including hot flushes, muscle aches and joint pain.

“In our study, we were surprised to find that so many more women in the South of England are accessing HRT, compared to women in the North and Midlands.”
