Before concluding his visit, Mr Conlon extended a special invitation to the pupils to visit the Houses of Parliament. The trip, which will take place soon, promises to give the children a closer look at the heart of British democracy.

Chris Hollands, Headteacher at St Mark’s Church of England Primary School, said: “Showing Mr Conlon the life-transforming learning we provide pupils at St Mark’s CE Primary School was a pleasure. Our pupils were thrilled to have the opportunity to discuss what life is like as an MP and are very excited for their upcoming trip to the Houses of Parliament. I want to extend my gratitude to Mr Conlon for taking the time out of his busy schedule to visit our school.”
