Human towers take over Tower Bridge
The Colla Jove Xiquets de Valls, proudly sponsored by Barcelona-based airline Vueling, will be joining forces with the Castellers of London and Mannekes de Brusselles for a breathtaking display of Catalonia’s most iconic tradition: the human tower. Together, they’ll attempt to build six-storey-high towers of people right beside Tower Bridge.
Recognised by UNESCO as a masterpiece of Intangible Cultural Heritage, castells are a dazzling mix of teamwork, strength, and courage.
Rarely seen outside Spain, this is a unique chance for Londoners to experience the thrill of a living Catalan tradition in an unforgettable setting.
The event will take place in Potters Fields Park, Tooley St, London SE1 2UD, on Saturday, September 20 from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
