The children and colleagues at the nursery wore their favourite pyjamas and had a movie day, where they invited parents to donate money towards an important cause. They also took part in a sponsored walk around Hackney, where both children and colleagues walked to raise money.
They raised vital funds on the day to support children battling cancer. Donations collected have gone to Children with Cancer UK, a leading organisation in the fight against childhood cancer. The charity is dedicated to raising money for research and providing care for children with cancer and their families. The aim for their research is to understand what causes children to get cancer and to develop improved treatments.

We wanted to find a fun way for the children to get involved in fundraising whilst giving them an understanding of why it’s important to support charities and get involved in helping our community.

“At Angels on The Park, we feel passionate about supporting others and finding new and unique ways on how we can get children and their parents involved to make a positive impact. We are really grateful to those who have donated to the cause, and we’re looking forward to holding more fundraisers like this in the near future!”
