Gin-infused street food hits London's culinary scene

London's food enthusiasts are in for a treat as Market Place Vauxhall introduces the city's first-ever gin-infused street food menu.

This innovative culinary offering will be available for a limited time only, from September 23 to 29, as part of the venue's second-anniversary celebrations.

In a unique collaboration, the popular food market nestled under the arches in south London has partnered with James May's James Gin. The result? A mouthwatering array of limited-edition gin-infused specials that promise to tantalise taste buds and push culinary boundaries.

Among the standout dishes are a gin and tonic pizza, gin-battered fish and chips, and even a gin-infused Sunday roast wrap. These creations showcase the versatility of gin in cooking and offer a fresh twist on beloved classics.

The full menu of gin-infused delicacies includes:

• Slow roast Chinese 5-spice duck croquettes with sticky blackcurrant and James Gin sauce
• Slow-roasted pulled duck salad with pickled fennel, roasted figs, radicchio with orange and James Gin vinaigrette
• Japanese chicken karaage with James Gin spicy orange mayo and orange zest from A-May-Zing Chicken
• Scottish salmon, avocado, sushi rice, nori with orange tobiko James Gin infused mayo, sriracha and chives
• Scottish salmon marinated in James Gin, sesame oil and soy sauce, sprinkled with chives and sesame seeds

But the celebration doesn't stop at food. On September 23 at 7pm, Market Place Vauxhall will host an exclusive Q&A session with James May himself. The renowned TV personality will share the story behind James Gin and regale attendees with anecdotes from his venture into the spirits industry.
