FDM Document Solutions fends off fierce competition to secure contract with Buckinghamshire Council

Reinforcing the work that it delivers for Revenues and Benefits clients throughout the country, FDM Document Solutions, one of the UK’s leading print, mail and document management specialists, is celebrating after it secured a three-year contract with Buckinghamshire Council.

Following a competitive tender process through the CCS RM6280 framework for the provision of council tax, business rates, housing benefits and ad hoc printing services, it was successful against 11 initial bidders and subsequently five finalists.

As one of the UK’s largest authorities, Buckinghamshire Council has the biggest population among the 13 unitary authorities in the South East. With 237,000 households and 14,000 businesses, FDM Document Solutions will produce approximately 1 million documents per year and provide the Council with access to its specialist Hi-mail, hybrid mail system.

Scheduled to start in April 2025, the three-year contract has an optional two-year extension, with feedback confirming it was won as a result of the company’s quality and extensive track record of delivering similar work for a large number of other local authorities.
