Following the news last year that Croydon College had achieved a good overall grading from Ofsted, the college, which was formed from a merger between Croydon College and Coulsdon Sixth Form College, has launched its new five-year strategic plan “Creating Careers”.

‘Creating Careers’ sets out Croydon College’s ambition to equip its students with the knowledge, skills and capabilities to develop their future careers and meet the skills needs of the residents, employers and stakeholders in Croydon and surrounding boroughs.

The plan is centred around five strategic priorities; Exceptional Outcomes, Skills for Successful Careers, Great Place to Work, Making a Difference and Foundations. Specific actions underpin these priorities, which aim to transform lives and support the local economy . Students, staff and governors were all involved in developing the plan and in setting the college’s vision, purpose, mission and values.
