Mabel Geeson was joined by staff, relatives, friends and other residents as she received a card from His Majesty King Charles III in recognition of her landmark birthday. A party was held at the home where Mabel, her family and friends enjoyed a special birthday cake.
Before making Southgate Beaumont her home, where Mabel is enjoying a new chapter of her life. Mabel led an extraordinary life and her stories she generously shares are remarkable. Mabel was one of the first girls to gain a scholarship at the London School of Economics, before going to work in the Secret service.

Hide AdShe has been a member of a local church in Southgate, Christchurch for more than 70 years. Mabel used to visit Southgate Beaumont Care Home with members from Christchurch and generously give their time to spend time with residents and sing for them, which she truly loved.

Today Mabel received some beautiful cards made by the pupils and staff from Walker School, Southgate.
