Beavertown has launched its ‘Just In Case’ initiative that aims to thank hospitality workers in London for their hard work during busy on-trade seasons.

Trialled after a record-breaking Christmas, care packages were delivered by hand to over 100 venues in 13 cities, including Scolt Head in Dalston, Skehans in Nunhead, The White Swan in Twickenham and more.

This initiative aims to spotlight hospitality workers and thank them for their huge efforts during particularly busy periods for pubs. With over 30 million pints of draught beer and cider sold in pubs during last year’s key five trading days — a 2.6% increase from 2023.

Each hand-delivered package is brimming with 11 gifts including a pair of headphones, Just Eat vouchers, portable power banks, sweet treats, and more.

What’s more, the puzzle-designed boxes have been crafted to encourage team activity, with labels like “always gets cold feet” or “never off their phone” to help staff decide who gets each gift.

Tom Rainsford, Marketing Director at Beavertown, said: “Working in hospitality comes with its own set of challenges, especially during peak trading periods, like summer and Christmas.

“The ‘Just in Case’ launch is our way of saying a big thank you to hospitality staff for keeping glasses filled throughout one of the busiest times of the year, and we’re really excited to deliver it to over a hundred venues in eleven cities across the UK.”

Beavertown plans to expand its hospitality support efforts throughout 2025.
