Sixth Formers secure places at first-choice universities, including in the sciences and engineering. Top London universities once again prove popular for Ernest Bevin students.

Sixth Formers at Ernest Bevin Academy in Tooting, London, are celebrating today after receiving their A Level results and securing places at their universities of choice.

Those celebrating particularly impressive individual achievements include Yahya, who will be studying Medicine at Queen Mary University of London this autumn after achieving two As and a B.

Several students will going on to study Computer Science, including:

  • Bolu, who will be heading to Queen Mary University of London after achieving an A*, an A and a B;
  • Mark, who achieved two As and a B and will also be going to Queen Mary University of London.

Meanwhile, there are also a number of students from Ernest Bevin who will be beginning their Aerospace Engineering studies at Kingston University London this autumn, including: Johar, Umar, Vansh, Ayan, Sultan and Abdullhahi.

Other students celebrating individual successes include:

  • Ali, who secured a place at King’s College London to study Pharmacy after achieving two As and a B;
  • Ilyas, who will be joining Queen Mary University of London to study Chemical Engineering;
  • Mohamed, who will be going to St George’s University Hospital to study Biomedical Science after achieving two As and a B;
  • Bilal, who achieved an A* and three As and will be taking a gap year before deciding on next steps;
  • Camaron, who has secured a place to study Mechanical Engineering at London South Bank University.

Tracy Dohel, Principal at Ernest Bevin Academy, congratulated students, saying: We are very pleased for all our students celebrating their A Level and equivalent results today.

"They can take pride in the knowledge that their hard work has rewarded them with some impressive individual achievements and will allow them to move forward with confidence as they pursue their interests at university and beyond.
