A veterinary practice in Streatham Hill has been named the best vets in the capital following a prestigious industry award ceremony.

Streatham Hill Vets on Sternhold Ave, part of the UK’s largest independent veterinary group DNA Vetcare, was recognised at the BestUKVets Awards event in Putney, beating 261 veterinary practices in the city to be voted the Best Vets in London.

Run by vet review site Vet Help Direct, the awards recognise the nation’s best veterinary practices, with categories including Best in Region, Best Small Practice and Best in Country.

Voted by veterinary clients, the awards are decided based on the amount of 4 or 5 star reviews a practice has received within a 12-month period, giving pet parents the chance to have their say on their local vet.

Dane Walker, Senior Veterinary Surgeon at Streatham Hill and co-founder of DNA Vetcare said: “It was a fantastic night for DNA with four of our veterinary practices recognised. I couldn’t be prouder of the Streatham House team being voted the best vet practice in London.

“The fact that they are voted by those who matter most - the clients themselves - is testament to the hard work and dedication of our veterinary and nursing staff who work tirelessly to deliver the very highest levels of care to pets and their owners in Streatham Hill and beyond.
