New London-based company targets growth in UK energy storage market
UK Energy Firm Partners with Norwegian Battery Company to Launch New Venture
A new energy company, ep Pixii, has been launched in London through a partnership between UK firm ep Group and Norwegian battery specialist Pixii. The joint venture aims to provide distributed energy systems to the UK market, focusing on commercial real estate, residential development, and industrial sectors.
Led by Leo Bedford, ep Pixii will deliver integrated systems that combine battery storage, solar generation, electric vehicle charging, and other on-site energy technologies. The company also plans to support clients in reducing costs and generating revenue through participation in grid services.
Dr. Steven Fawkes, Managing Partner at ep Group, said the collaboration draws on Pixii’s battery and power conversion technology alongside ep Group’s experience in project delivery and energy infrastructure.

Pixii’s CEO, Kenneth Bodahl, described the UK as a strategic market and said the new venture will offer scalable systems suitable for various property types. Morten Angelil, Chairman of Pixii and CEO of Eltek Holding, added that the project continues a five-decade legacy in energy conversion.
The venture will also use Falcon, a platform developed by ep Group to manage and optimise on-site generation and energy usage.
