The Creative Doodler will be showing off his work at Ealing in September

Meet Alex Walton AKA Alexthedoodler The 22 year old Doodle Artist from London he loves to draw so please check out his Instagram account @alexthedoodler, Alexthedoodler says he will never stop because doodling is a thing that he just loves doing.

Alex will be at The Ealing Beat Art Trail on September 6th 7th and 13th at Framfield Allotments so please go and see him at the art trail as he wants to make it a full time thing doing his artworks.

He works mostly in digital and pen and paper mediums. He started doodling using pen aged 13 and found it calming and relaxing, helps him to express himself as an autistic teenager. Alex’s early influences were doodle artists like Jon Burgerman and artists like Keith Haring and Picasso. He loves their use of shape and colour.

His early doodles evolved from traffic light-like creatures into doodle characters in large collages, often with local Ealing references. One of my more recent collage doodles is called Feelings, a collage of emotive faces. More recent work includes Mr. Autism and Spikey Mikey, both characters that seem to connect with people of all ages.

After leaving college and completing an internship in 2023 that included a short time at The Cartoon Museum, he is now looking for any opportunities doing the art he loves so For him, “It’s the doodles that matter”.
