Take a leap for hospice care – with a thrilling bungee jump for St Raphael’s!
St Raphael’s Hospice is calling on thrill-seekers and community champions to take on its new heart-pounding fundraiser and leap from 160ft at its exhilarating Bungee Jump Challenge on Saturday 13 September 2025.
Set within the grounds of the North Cheam-based Hospice, this exciting fundraiser offers brave participants the chance to bungee jump from a 160ft crane – right above the charity they’re supporting.
Whether taking the plunge solo or as a tandem jump with a friend or family member, this unforgettable experience is a brilliant way to support St Raphael’s vital services, while creating unforgettable memories.
The event is open to the entire community and brave jumpers can bring spectators with them on the day to enjoy refreshments, burgers available all day, plus the chance to win some top raffle prizes.
“This is more than just a fundraiser – it’s a celebration of courage, compassion and community,” said Samantha Bourne, Events and Community Fundraiser at St Raphael’s.
“We’re thrilled to bring something bold and inspiring into the heart of the Hospice, and we’d love to see as many people as possible taking part on the day. Every leap and every pound of sponsorship raised will help St Raphael’s provide our free, expert and vital end of life care to people living in Merton and Sutton, when it matters most.”
Bungee Jump Details:
Date: Saturday 13 September
Time: 10am – 4pm (to arrive 30 minutes before your slot)
Location: St Raphael’s Hospice, London Road, Cheam
Cost: £49 per person / £89 per couple (tandem jump)
Minimum Sponsorship: £175 individual / £350 for couples
All participants receive a free t-shirt and certificate!
