Moco Museum and Nurse Heroes celebrate International Nurse Week with free museum access and a message of empowerment.

In honour of International Nurse Week, Moco Museum London is proud to announce a new initiative offering free entry to nurses, celebrating their compassion, resilience, and dedication.

Currently running the exhibition 'Radical Honesty' with Robbie Williams, which explores themes of mental health and the healing power of art, Moco is launching this new initiative as part of a broader commitment to using art as a force for reflection, connection, and care. Starting this May, Moco Museum London will welcome all nurses who present a valid Nurse ID at no charge.

This gesture is part of a heartfelt campaign in collaboration with Nurse Heroes, an organization previously supported by artists like Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez. This initiative is made possible thanks to the support of UK artist Hayden Kays and the generosity of Ocean Outdoor.

"Art can heal," says Kim Logchies, co-founder of Moco Museum and former therapist. "This initiative is about recognition, gratitude, and giving something meaningful back to those who give so much. It's a gesture that says, "They care for us, and we care for them."

The museum's collection includes works by Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Banksy, KAWS, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Damien Hirst, Yayoi Kusama and Studio Irma. The museum's collection includes works by Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Banksy, KAWS, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Damien Hirst, Yayoi Kusama and Studio Irma.

To amplify this message, a new artwork by Hayden Kays Heroes Wear Capes (2025) will be featured on digital billboards across the UK. The piece pays tribute to the heart of nursing: care under pressure, delivered with humanity. At Moco Museum London, the artwork will be presented alongside Kays' existing piece, Labour of Love (2024), inviting visitors into a visual dialogue on empathy and public service.

On May 7th, Moco hosted an evening celebration to celebrate the launch at its London location, bringing together partners and supporters to reflect on the power of cultural institutions in uplifting and supporting those who serve our communities. The event highlighted the role of institutions like Moco as platforms for impact, access, and innovation in the arts.

This campaign is not just about entry, it's about belonging. In a world that often overlooks frontline workers, Moco offers a quiet but powerful message: You are seen. You are valued. This space is for you. Because sometimes, the simplest gesture can carry the deepest meaning.
