Kevin Johansen, Liniers, and The Nada will follow their 2024 sold out show with a performance at The Islington Assembly on Wednesday, October 8. The multifaceted show combines live music with live illustrations and will present their brand-new album ‘Desde que te Madrid’ and a new book ‘Es nuestra forma de comunicarno’.

Kevin Johansen and his legendary band The Nada, together with renowned cartoonist Liniers, return to London to present their iconic and multifaceted live show — a unique blend of music and illustration.

After their London sold-out performance in 2024, Kevin & Liniers are back at the Islington Assembly Hall for another unforgettable night, this time bringing with them the full band and a brand-new album Desde que te Madrid and a new book Es nuestra forma de comunicarnos.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of their collaborative show — a journey that began in 2009 and has since evolved into a celebrated international act. Since their long-awaited reunion in 2023, the show has toured across continents and captivated audiences in cities worldwide. It's a performance full of songs, spontaneous illustrations, deep friendship, and intelligent humour — a vibrant fusion of art and music that’s both original and deeply human.

On stage, Kevin Johansen revisits some of the most beloved songs from his discography, while Liniers brings them to life through live illustrations, projected in real time on a screen behind the band. It’s an immersive experience — a musical world woven together with drawings — offering the audience a journey unlike any other. Call it a live illustrated concert or a musical graphic novel: it's a singular opportunity to witness this dynamic duo in action.

Over the past 15 years, their show has travelled from Latin America to Europe, gracing major venues, cultural festivals, and literary fairs, often playing to sold-out crowds. The project has produced two live DVDs (recorded in Buenos Aires and Mexico, released by Sony Music), and two books (OOPS! and BIS) published by the prestigious Ediciones de la Flor.

After years apart, 2023 marked their joyful reunion, and 2024 signalled a new chapter. Now, in 2025, the celebration continues — reaching new cities and audiences with fresh material, unwavering creativity, and a show that feels more timeless than ever.
