Hop on: this free beer bus in hitting London this June

Londoners, get ready to climb aboard the beer bus of dreams.

The team behind Oktoberfest on the Common, the UK’s biggest Oktoberfest celebration, is teaming up with alpine beer brand Jubel to bring a surprise open-top party to the streets of London. Expect live bands, free beer and spontaneous pick-ups across the city.

On Saturday 28th June, a fully decked-out open-top bus will hit the road, stopping at five of London’s most iconic landmarks and inviting lucky revellers on board at each stop for free Jubel beers and good times.

On Saturday 28th June, the beer bus hits the road with the following route:

  • 12:45pm – Bus departs, fully loaded with Jubel beer, the band, and team
  • 1:15pm – Stop 1: Westminster Bridge & Parliament Square (15 mins – collecting 20 revellers)
  • 1:45pm – Stop 2: Buckingham Palace (10 mins – collecting 20 revellers)
  • 2:15pm – Stop 3: St Paul’s Cathedral (10 mins – collecting 20 revellers)
  • 2:45pm – Stop 4: Tower Bridge (10 mins – collecting 20 revellers)
  • 3:15pm – Stop 5: London Eye (15 mins – collecting 20 revellers)
  • 4:00pm – Return to a pub in Clapham for a final pint of Jubel

The roaming Bavarian bus will be picking up and dropping off around 20 people at each stop, first come first served, before looping back to Clapham for a final pint at a local pub.

“This rolling beer stunt lands ahead of Oktoberfest on the Common, taking place in Clapham from 10 to 25 October, with 100,000 pints, bratwurst galore, live bands and full Bavarian madness.”
