Golf fans in for a treat as Masters watch party takes over Greenwich Peninsula

London will host the UK’s first festival dedicated to modern golf culture this spring, as Golfclubber transforms Magazine London into a two-day urban golf experience combining live Majors viewing, DJs, celebrity guests and interactive golf challenges.
Taking place Saturday 11 - Sunday 12 April, the event will coincide with the action from Augusta National, turning the Greenwich Peninsula venue into a festival-style watch party and interactive playground designed to bring the sport to a new generation of fans.
At the centre of the event will be the UK’s first dedicated Majors fan zone, featuring large indoor and outdoor screens showing live coverage from Augusta, alongside live commentary, competitions and giveaways.
Visitors will also be able to test their skills in a Performance Zone featuring golf simulators, putting challenges and interactive experiences recreating some of the most famous shots in the professional game. Coaching sessions and beginner masterclasses will run throughout the weekend, making the event accessible for those new to the sport.

The programme will also feature appearances from well-known figures across sport and entertainment, including former Premier League footballer Jimmy Bullard, former world heavyweight boxing champion Tony Bellew and Rudimental’s Locky, alongside leading PGA golf coach and creator Georgia Ball and current LET player - Hannah Screen.
A number of the UK’s most influential golf creators will also appear, including Fore Bros, Golf Life (Tubes & Ange), Trey Niven, and Keeks, reflecting the growing role of digital creators in bringing new audiences into the sport.
The launch comes as golf experiences a surge in popularity across Britain. According to The R&A, there are now 5.3 million active golfers in the UK - more than double the number recorded in 2017 - while last year’s Majors Sunday became the most-watched day in Sky Sports history.
Golfclubber aims to tap into that momentum by creating a social, festival-style environment where golf, music, entertainment and lifestyle culture meet. Organisers say the brand’s audience has an average age of 32, with more than 70% identifying as social or weekend golfers.

Major brands are already backing the debut event. Adidas and HEAD in partnership with TrendyGolf are confirmed as headline partners, alongside Takomo, Caddy Comps and Hyperice, which will host a dedicated recovery zone.
Chris Clark, founder of Golfclubber, said the event was designed to reflect how the sport is evolving. “Golf has exploded in popularity, but the way people experience it hasn’t really evolved. Right now you either watch tournaments in person, at home or follow creators online.
"We aim for Golfclubber to host the biggest ‘off course’ events in golf, democratising access to the game. We want to make it accessible in both senses of the word, something you don’t have to travel miles to and feel welcoming for all types of golfer, in essence creating a modern clubhouse. In an ever digital world, people are craving those unrepeatable live moments, especially during the Masters, to share with friends. Saturday is very high energy 18+, while Sunday we will focus on the families and is designed for helping get kids into the game. Especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. We want to bring that golf to the heart of London.”
The event is expected to attract more than 3,000 visitors across the weekend.
