Good news as food hygiene ratings given to two Waltham Forest takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Ohba Leaf Walthamstow, at 125 Grove Road, Walthamstow was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 9.

And Spice Hut, at 728 High Road, Leyton was also given a score of five on May 9.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 241 takeaways with ratings, 83 (34%) have ratings of five and 16 (7%) have zero ratings.
