Food hygiene ratings given to two Waltham Forest restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Waltham Forest’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Brown Sugar and Spice Caribbean Joint, at 613 Forest Road, Walthamstow was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 28.

And Old Village Catering, at 63 High Street, Walthamstow was given a score of zero on April 27.

It means that of Waltham Forest's 526 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 237 (45%) have ratings of five and 18 have zero ratings.
