New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tower Hamlets’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Ravaa Fine Fusion, at 11 Pennyfields, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 5.

And Mithai Ghar, at 133 Whitechapel Road, London was given a score of one on June 5.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 1,018 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 705 (69%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
