New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Tower Hamlets’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Amerigo Vespucci, at 25 Cabot Square, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 13.

And Players Social, at 1 Crispin Place, London was given a score of two on January 13.

It means that of Tower Hamlets's 1,008 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 718 (71%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
