Food hygiene ratings handed to two Southwark restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Southwark’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Southwark’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Ponces corporation (restaurant), at Arch 144 Eagle Yard, Hampton Street, London was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 16.

And El marsem, at 223, Old Kent Road, London was given a score of zero on December 16.

It means that of Southwark's 976 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 656 (67%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
