New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Southwark’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Bao, at Unit A, 40-42, Newington Causeway, London was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 4.

And Ramen and donburi, at Unit A, 40-42, Newington Causeway, London was also given a score of three on May 4.

It means that of Southwark's 451 takeaways with ratings, 234 (52%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
