A Merton restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Tabaq Caterers, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Shop, 213 Streatham Road, Mitcham was given the score after assessment on December 1, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Merton's 455 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 351 (77%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
