Hounslow's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start this week:
• M4, from 10pm January 9 to 6am January 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 1 to junction 2, carriageway closure for HFS works, diversion via TFL roads.
• A312, from 10pm January 16 to 6am January 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 1, carriageway closure and entry slip road closure for surfacing works, diversion via TFL roads.
• M4, from 10pm January 16 to 5.30am January 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 2 to junction 3, Lane closures for drainage works.
• M4, from 10pm January 23 to 5am January 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 2 to junction 3, Lane closure for barrier repairs.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
