Hillingdon road closures: eight for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight
Hillingdon's motorists will have eight road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A312, from 10.30pm August 13 to 5am August 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4B to junction 3, Lane closures for Sign Installation.
And a further seven closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A312, from 10pm August 14 to 5am August 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4, Lane and exit slip road closures for CAT1 barrier repair works, diversion via, junction 3 and return.

Hide Ad• M25, from 9.30pm August 15 to 5am August 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound to M25 clockwise link road, carriageway closure for communication works, diversion via National Highways network.
• M40, from 10pm August 15 to 5am August 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 1 to junction 1a, Lane closures for maintenance works.
• M25, from 11pm August 18 to 6am August 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5 to 4B, Lane closure and link road closure for joint investigation works, diversion via National Highways roads.
• M4, from 10pm August 19 to 5.30am August 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 4 to junction 3, Lane closures and slip road closures for surveys, diversions via National Highways roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
