Havering road closures: seven for motorists to avoid this week

Havering's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Havering's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that seven closures are due to start this week:

M25, from 10pm January 30 to 5am January 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 28, Lane closure for CAT 1 RTMC electrical works.

M25, from 10pm January 31 to 5am February 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29, slip road and lane closure for CAT1 safety fence repairs, diversion via National highways network.

M25, from 10pm February 2 to 6am February 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 29 to junction 28, carriageway and lane closure for inspection works, diversion via National Highways network.

A282, from 10pm February 6 to 5am February 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, QEII Bridge to M25 Anticlockwise, junction 30, lane closures for electrical works.

M25, from 10pm February 9 to 5am February 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anticlockwise, junction 30 to junction 29, Lane closure for electrical works.

M25, from 10pm February 13 to 5am February 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 29, carriageway and lane closure for inspections, diversion via National highways network.

A13, from 10pm February 13 to 5am February 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): 2200-0500hrs L1,2,3 closure clockwise with J31 entry slip closed, diversion J30 and return for Lighting works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
