51 further coronavirus cases and one more death recorded in Hammersmith and Fulham
The number of coronavirus cases in Hammersmith and Fulham increased by 51 in the last 24 hours, official figures show – and one more death was recorded.
A total of 22,029 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 in Hammersmith and Fulham when the UK coronavirus daily dashboard was updated on September 24 (Friday), up from 21,978 on Thursday.

Hide AdThe rate of infection in Hammersmith and Fulham now stands at 12,002 cases per 100,000 people, higher than the England average of 11,461.
Across the UK, the number of recorded cases increased by 35,620 over the period, to 7,601,487.
There was also one more coronavirus death recorded in the latest 24-hour period in Hammersmith and Fulham.
The dashboard shows 246 people had died in the area by September 24 (Friday) – up from 245 on Thursday.

Hide AdIt means there have been three deaths in the past week, which is an increase on one the previous week.
They were among 16,347 deaths recorded across London.
The figures include anyone who died within 28 days of a positive test result for Covid-19, and whose usual residence was in Hammersmith and Fulham.
Daily death counts are revised each day, with each case backdated to the actual date of death.
The figures also show that more than half of people in Hammersmith and Fulham have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine.

Hide AdThe latest figures show 116,956 people had received both jabs by September 23 (Thursday) – 54% of those aged 16 and over, based on the number of people on the National Immunisation Management Service database.
Across England, 82% of people aged 16 and above had received a second dose of the jab.
Unlike at local level, the national rate was calculated using mid-2020 population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.
