A Croydon restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

La Scarpetta, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 117 Brighton Road, Coulsdon was given the score after assessment on June 1, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Croydon's 717 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 426 (59%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
