Road closures: one for Barnet drivers this week

Drivers in and around Barnet will have a National Highways road closure to watch out for this week.

And it is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a holdup of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure is due to start this week:

• A1, from 10pm July 4 to 5am July 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 2, entry slip road closure for barrier repairs, diversion via TFL roads (A41 to junction 4).

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
