London is set to feel more festive as the nationwide attraction that is Winter Wonderland returns. This year will mark the 15th year since its inauguration, with Winter Wonderland having over 14 million visitors in its first 10  years.

This will be the first year since 2019 where people can visit Winter Wonderland without any Coronavirus restrictions, in what is expected to be an extra special year.  It is one of the best spectacles London has to offer around the festive season with rides, an Ice Rink, food and drink stalls, and the Christmas Market. Of course no Winter Wonderland would be complete without the man himself, Santa Claus.

The return of Winter Wonderland follows on from the Christmas lights being turned on at high profile London locations such as Oxford Street, Bond Street and Mayfair’s Mount Street. Oxford Street is using 300,000 LED light bulbs made from recycled polymer, which are 75% more efficient than regular bulbs.

With such a high profile event, visited by thousands of people everyday, parking might be tricky. However, one of the benefits of having Winter Wonderland in London is the fantastic public transport links.

Can I park my car at Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland?

On the official Hyde Park Winter Wonderland website they advise that people should avoid coming via car where possible. However, parking is still available for those that need it.
