A date for Eid ul-Adha 2024 in London has been announced following the sighting of the new crescent moon in the UK over the weekend.
The sighting of a crescent moon marks the start of a new month on the Islamic calendar. The 11th month of the calendar, Dhul Quadah, started on Friday, May 10.

When is Eid ul-Adha 2024 in London?
According to the New Crescent Society, the first day of Dhul Hijjah was Saturday (June 8). Eid ul Adha takes place on the tenth day of Dhul Hijjah, therefore celebrations will take place on Monday, June 17 in the capital.
