Toto at Wembley Arena tonight: What to expect including timings, setlist and more

Toto is performing at Wembley Arena tonight (Wednesday, 5th February.) Here’s what you can expect from the gig.

The multi-time Grammy Awards will kick off their UK & European tour this weekend at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro before hitting the road for dates at Birmingham’s BP Pulse LIVE, the AO Arena in Manchester and Wembley Arena.

Throughout the years, the Toto lineup has undergone several personnel changes, but joining founding member Steve Lukather will be vocalist Joseph Williams, Greg Phillinganes and Dennis Atlas on keyboards and vocals, drummer Shannon Forrest, bassist John Pierce, horns and percussion maestro Warren Ham.

Forming in 1977, Toto has produced hits such as the double platinum track ‘Rosanna’, the triple platinum hit ‘Hold The Line’, ‘I'll Supply the Love’, ‘Georgy Porgy’ and ‘Africa’, which earned the band their first no.1 hit, became certified diamond by the RIAA in the United States and has become a cult classic amongst music fans. In total, the band’s album sales have exceeded a whopping 50 million.

Toto setlist

Founding Toto member Steve Lukather revealed in an exclusive interview that the band would be bringing a new setlist for the upcoming tour and teased what fans can expect to see.

“We have a brand new setlist, we are gonna play all the hits, but all the other stuff is a completely different show than it has been for a while - a couple of things we’ve never done before. Try to really freshen it up and play some stuff that our old fans want to hear,” Lukather said.

Who will open for Toto?

For all of the band’s appearances in the UK and Europe, they will be joined by Christopher Cross.

In a career spanning more than four decades, Cross has sold more than 12 million albums. His music has garnered five Grammys, an Oscar, a Golden Globe, an Emmy nomination and five Top 10 singles.

Set times

Based on Toto’s performance at the Espaço Unimed in São Paulo, Brazil last year, we can expect to see the Grammy-Award winning hitmakers take to the stage at around 9pm for all of their UK shows.
