Known for their sharp banter while presenting live football on Sky Sports, the trio comprising Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane have taken YouTube by storm with their The Overlap channel already amassing 64 million views. Now the banter makes its way onto stages across the United Kingdom with The Overlap Live, with London one of only three locations the trio will visit.
Considered three of football’s top pundits in the game at present, The Overlap Live is a chance for all three to share stories, wisdom and punditry with presenters Kelly Cates and Josh Denzel attempting to keep Gary, Jamie and Roy in check at each of the shows. Fans of the show can attest to how heated the exchanges can get.
After a sell out show in Manchester earlier this year, the trio decided to take their show to “enemy territory”, as The Overlap Live makes its way to London’s OVO Arena Wembley on April 5, 2023.
Upon seeing the reception from London football fans on the news of the tour taking place, Gary Neville said: “The reaction to the Wembley show has been brilliant so we are delighted to be able to confirm three new dates for The Overlap Live in Manchester, Dublin and Liverpool! It’s fair to say these will be lively shows and I think all three of us know exactly what we are in for!
“As with the Wembley show we’ll be opening up to questions throughout the night, which we might live to regret, but it should be interesting to say the least – particularly for me and Roy in Liverpool!”
Neville concluded: “Seriously though, these will all be great nights – so join us if you like!”
