Rick Ross London 2022: when is rapper’s London show, how to get tickets, UK tour dates, possible setlist

Popular American rapper Rick Ross is soon heading to London for just a solitary show in the capital, and will be one of two UK dates as he embarks on a European tour.

The tour comes after he released his 11th studio album, ‘Richer Than I Ever Been’ that was released in December 2021.

This album came with high anticipation, and speaking on the album, Ross said it was his ‘greatest to date’ stating that “It has more lyrical wordplay”.

When is Rick Ross performing in London?

Rick Ross is set to perform just one stand alone show in London, and will perform at the O2 Academy in Brixton on Sunday, 31 July 2022.

Ross, who has been in the game for a long time has previously performed in the capital, and performed at the O2 Indigo way back in 2013, where he surprised fans bringing out fellow rapper 2 Chainz.

As mentioned, his London show is just one of two in the UK, perhaps a nod to his lack of popularity in the UK compared to the United States, where he is considered as one of the best rappers.

How do I get tickets for his London performance?

Tickets for his London show are still on sale, and can be purchased online via Ticketmaster.

The cheapest tickets currently available are located in the stalls section, costing £46.75 each, but are only on offer to those age over 14.

If you are under 14, but still wish to go, a ticket will cost £58 each, and you must be accompanied by an adult, so someone aged over 18.

What is a possible setlist?

A possible setlist is not yet available.

However, some of his biggest songs that you can expect to be played are ‘I’m On One’, ‘Hustlin’, ‘Aston Martin Music’ and more.

It is also possible that a large majoirty of the music he will perform at his London show will be from his latest, and 11th studio album.

Who is Rick Ross?

Rick Ross, real name William Leonard Roberts II is an American rapper and record executive.

He is 46 years old, and launched his career back in 2000.

Ross released his first single, Hustlin’ in 2006, but prior to that he was the subject of a bidding war, receiving offers from Diddy‘s Bad Boy Entertainment and Irv Gotti‘s Murder Inc, until signing a multimillion-dollar deal with Jay-Z on Def Jam Recordings.

Ross gained a rise to fame later that year, releasing his first studio album Port of Miami through the label later that year, debuting at the top spot on the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart, with sales of 187,000 units during the first week.

Aside from music, Ross has had a wild life. He was the target of a drive by shooting in 2013, surviving the attempt but at the cost of crashing his car into an apartment.

As well as that, he suffered two seizures in one day, attributing the seizures to a lack of sleep and was even on life support in 2018 after being found unresponsive.
