Pop lovers heading to Mighty Hoopla this weekend will want to pack their shades and sunscreen as it’s predicted to be a sunny one. The Met Office forecasts show the mercury will be on the rise throughout the two-day festival.

The 2023 edition of the music event will kick off on Saturday (June 3) at London’s Brockwell Park and wrap up the following day on Sunday (June 4). Over the weekend, fans will be treated to performances by pop royalty as well as two-time Eurovision winner Loreen.

Those set to attend the pop festival will no doubt be hoping for some good weather as they watch their fave artists perform live. And they may just be in luck, according to the Met Office.

The national weather service has forecast plenty of sun for the capital this weekend. Both Saturday and Sunday are set to hit temperatures of over 20C, with Saturday expected to be the hottest of the two.

The warm weather is certainly invited to the weekend pop music festival as the sun is set to shine down over the Brockwell Park festival. Temperatures are set to peak in the late afternoon at 22°C before cooling down into the evening.

Mighty Hoopla goers will be able to continue to bask in the sun throughout Sunday too. The day has been forecast with sunny intervals with cloud cover expected to offer revellers some respite from the sun’s powerful glare. Temperatures are likely to hit around 21C in the late afternoon, with the warm weather continuing into the early evening.
