While it’s based near the capital’s centre, London’s O2 Arena welcomes those up and down the country making the trip to the venue by car. Drivers won’t have to worry about where to park as nearby parking is also available.

The arena’s city location means it has great links to the London underground as well as other TFL services via both bus and boat. Whether you’re tapping in or using a travel card, event goers can get to the venue from central London in less than half an hour.

However, those wanting to travel by car will still be able to drive through the capital to visit the London venue. Drivers planning the trip will no doubt have already wondered about the parking situation at the venue, but they shouldn’t worry.

There is parking available nearby the arena for those set to enjoy one of the venue’s many shows as well as its visitors who are driving in to check out its other facilities, including the shopping outlet and Cineworld.

Where is the nearest parking to London’s O2 Arena?

There is on-site car parking available for those heading to the arena for both shows as well as to visit its other amenities.

Event parking is available in car park 1. There will also be a drop-off area located in this space for drivers offloading event goers too.

Car park 1 is located between Millenium Way and West Parkside and can be accessed by its entrance on Edmund Halley Way.

Alternatively, there is also more general car parking for those heading to the arena’s Icon Outlet as well as other facilities like Cineworld. This is available via car parks 2,3 and 4.

How much is parking at London’s O2 Arena?

Car park 1, which is event only, will need to be booked prior to your visit. Drivers can book a slot on the O2 website.

You will be able to reserve a spot if there are spaces available for your particular event. Standard parking for car park 1 is £30, while blue badge holders will have to pay £20.

Car parks 2, 3, and 4 all have hourly tariffs. These are listed below:

  • 0 – 2 hours £6 
  • 2 – 4 hours £9
  • 4 – 6 hours £13
  • 6 – 9 hours £15
  • 9 – 12 hours £16
  • 12 – 14 hours £19
  • 14 – 18 hours £25
  • 18 – 24 hours £50

How to get to London’s O2 Arena by car 

Drivers heading to the O2 arena can input the postcode SE10 0DX into their satnav. The famous event spot is also signposted on London’s M25 as well as the A2 and A20 for those travelling in from the south-east and the M11 for others driving from the north.

Those making their way by car may also want to note that while the venue is located outside of the congestion charge zone, it is included within the Ultra Low Emission Zone. Therefore if your vehicle does not meet ULEZ emission standards, you will need to pay a daily charge of £12.50.
