Halloween is almost here and if you’re looking for a spooky film to watch, why not choose one set in the capital?
Some of London’s most famous spots have been featured in horror films from landmarks to even underground stations.
Exploring the city’s dark past and highlighting some of its most haunted places you’ll be bound to recognise the city in these films even if you’re not a local.
Here’s a few of the movies that have been set and haven been filmed in the capital streets over the years.
Warning, watching these films may result in sleeping with the light on.

While travelling in England a US backpacker realises they’re turning into a werewolf with London happening to be where their blood-lust urge takes over. Londoners will recognize a number of sights across the movie from London Zoo to Piccadilly Circus. | AFP via Getty Images
