John Legend has announced another show for 2023 in London.

Following on from his July 2022 sold-out show at Somerset House, Legend will play The Royal Albert Hall in 2023.

The announcement of this exclusive show comes after Legend released his latest single ‘Dope’ featuring JID, which will feature on his forthcoming new album.

When is John Legend playing in London?

John Legend is scheduled to play his one night only show at the Royal Albert Hall on 5 April 2023.

Doors are scheduled to open at 7pm.

Due to popular demand John Legend announced a second show at the Royal Albery Hall which will take place on 6 April 2023.

When do tickets go on sale?

General sale for tickets will be on sale from Wednesday 1 June at 9am via Ticketmaster, LiveNation, Royal Albert Hall and John Legend’s website.

Fans can pre-order John Legend’s highly anticipated eight album now which will grant them access to ticket pre-sale from Wednesday 25 May.

A maximum of four tickets can be purchased per person and per household via this pre-sale event.

Customers of O2 will have access to pre-sale via O2 Priority which is scheduled to kick off at 9am on Wednesday 25 May.

LiveNation will be running a pre-sale event from Thursday 26 May at 9am.

What will the setlist be?

While the official setlist for the show has not been confirmed for The Royal Albert Hall show the set list will most likely include songs from his upcoming eighth album as well as fan favourites like Ordinary People, and All of Me.

Who is John Legend?

John Legend, born John Roger Stephens, is a platinum selling singer, songwriter, producer and actor.

Legend began his music career by working behind the scenes, most notably he played piano on Lauryn Hill’s hit Everything is Everything.

He worked with the likes of Jay-Z, and Alicia Keys before singing to Kanye West’s GOOD Music where he released his debut album Get Lifted in 2004.

Most recently, John Legend launched his Las Vegas residency entitled ‘Love in Las Vegas’. The show began in April 2022 at Zappos Theatre at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino and received critical acclaim from reviewers and fans alike.

Legend has released seven albums over the course of his career, including, Get Lifted (2004), Once Again (2006), Evolver (2008), Love in the Future (2013), Darkness and Light (2016), A Legendary Christmas Deluxe (2019), and most recently, Bigger Love (2020).

Legend has also released four live albums and two video albums. All of his album releases have spawned over 39 singles.

Throughout his incredible career Legend has won 12 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Tony Award and an Emmy Award. These accolades make him the first African-American man to earn an EGOT.
