House of the Dragon and Doctor Who star Matt Smith joins London Film & Comic Con - how to get tickets

House of the Dragon actor Matt Smith is set to greet fans at the London Film & Comic Con this summer. The former Doctor Who star is one of 70 celebrities attending the event from the world of TV and film.

Off the back of his stint in The Game of Thrones prequel, Smith has been confirmed as one of the many actors joining the fun at the convention in the capital. However, he is not the only star representing the show at the event.

One of 11 House of the Dragon actors attending, Olivia Cooke, who portrays Queen Alicent Hightower in the show, will also be joining Smith.

This summer, Smith is set to come face to face with fans from across the city and beyond. The weekend centred around all things film, TV, and comics begins on July 7, wrapping up on July 9.

On Friday (May 12), the official London Film & Comic Con Facebook page confirmed House of the Dragon actor Matt Smith would be at its upcoming summer convention.

Sharing the news to film and TV fans, the page wrote: "Geronimo!! MATT SMITH will be at London Film & Comic Con this July!" The announcement went on to highlight his role as the eleventh doctor in Doctor Who as well as his performances in The Crown and the 2021 film Last Night In Soho.

Smith is no stranger to the London convention, having previously attended the fan event multiple times over the years. His appearance last year came as House of the Dragon premiered on our screens. 

Fans can get tickets to meet the actor via his page on the convention's website. There, fans can get passes for photos with both Dr Who and House of the Dragon-themed backdrops. The prices for tickets are listed below:
