For the first time, London’s magical Kew Gardens will transform into a Halloween wonderland.

Full of spooky surprises, twinkling lights, and flickering flames, Halloween at Kew is expected to fright and delight its visitors. Brought to you by the producers of Christmas at Kew, you will be transported to an eerie and mystical magic garden, home to wicked witches, beastly bats, and larger-than-life spiders.

Wander through the dark haunted woods and keep your eyes peeled for glowing pumpkins, neon cobwebs, and ghastly ghouls.

As well as tricks, there will be plenty of treats including devilishly decadent hot chocolates and toasted marshmallows.

When is Halloween at Kew on until?

Halloween at Kew Gardens will run until Sunday, November 3.

From now until October 26 sessions will run from 6pm until 10pm.

From October 27 until November 3 sessions will run from 4pm until 10pm.

How scary is it?

Halloween at Kew is more delightful than frightful but the darker it gets, the spookier it gets.

There are three timeslots you can book.

Daylight: Sessions up to 6pm. Most suitable for very young ones who need to get back home to bed early!

Twilight: Sessions from 6-7.30pm. The scare level ramps up a notch.

Moonlight: Sessions after 7.30pm. As scary as it gets (but still suitable for all).

How much does it cost?

Ticket prices vary depending on whether you’re a member or not, and if you’re booking for a peak time slot. Book your tickets online by clicking here.

Member adult: Off Peak £15 / Peak £18

Non-member adult: Off Peak £17 / Peak £20 Children aged 4-15: £15

Children under 4 go free.

How to get there

Kew Gardens is pretty easy to get to. It is served by several bus and train routes. There are cycle racks and pre-paid parking slots available.

Train

The nearest train station is Kew Gardens station, which is in zone 3 and served by the District Line and London Overground:

Kew Gardens station: Located 500 meters from the Victoria Gate entrance

Kew Bridge station: Located 800 meters from the Elizabeth Gate entrance

South Western Railway: Trains run from London Waterloo to Kew Bridge, via Vauxhall and Clapham Junction

Bus

Routes 65 and 391 stop near the entry gates:

Route 65: Stops close to Elizabeth Gate, Victoria Gate, and Lion Gate

Route 110: Stops near Kew Gardens station and Elizabeth Gate

Routes 237 and 267: Connect to nearby Kew Bridge station
