Channel 4 Grand Designs Live 2023: Kevin McClouds and team take over ExCel London for immersive experience

Grand Designs Live is coming to ExCel London this summer. Fans of the popular Channel 4 home improvement television series can geek out at a chance to see host Kevin McCloud in person, attend talks and showcases and listen in on all of the interesting behind-the-scenes secrets from the show.
Taking place between April 29 to May 7, the live experience offers audience members the opportunity to take part in a variety of practical and hands-on workshops presented by leading industry experts.
Attendees can attain new skills across a variety of subject areas from creating the perfect interior design palette, to a well-crafted mood board and mastering the art of ink painting. The starting price for an individual workshop is £22 and you would need to book tickets in advance to attend a workshop.
On the day, you will also get the chance to hear from some of the TV show’s most memorable grand designers as they discuss the trials, tribulations and joys of their self-built projects.
Chosen by Kevin McCloud himself, the Green Heroes will make their debut on the show, giving visitors the chance to discover the latest designs and innovations for home and builds.
Green Heroes celebrates the best conceptual and eco-friendly construction ideas. Kevin personally selects his top heroes from small-scale start-ups to big businesses setting a green example for the rest of the industry.
The spectacular ‘Green Grads’ showcase is presented by UK university graduates who present their ideas for a greener and cleaner future.
After a busy morning of exploration and inspiration, visitors can enjoy a glass of bubbly, relax and plan their afternoon at the Champagne Bar.
How much are tickets for Grand Designs Live at London ExCel?
Standard tickets are on sale for £13- 15 on the Grand Designs Live tour website. Children aged 15 and under can attend for free. On-the-door tickets cost £17 on a weekday and £20 on a weekend.
