Popstar George Ezra is soon heading to London, as he prepares to headline a set at the world-renowned Finsbury Park, where he will appear alongside many special guests.

Ezra took an unofficial hiatus from music following the release of ‘Staying At Tamara’s’ in 2018, and didn’t appear or release a new song until 2022.

His 2022 comeback has been emphatic, with a new album and arena tour set to follow his Finsbury Park performance, which is coming up very soon.

When is George Ezra performing at Finsbury Park?

Ezra will headline Finsbury Park on 17 July 2022, and will be accompanied on stage by some very special, and known guests.

The Hertford born singer is no stranger to singing in London, as he recently took the stage at Capital FMs Summertime Ball, where he belted out tracks such as Shotgun, Paradise, Green, Green Grass and more.

He was also a performer at the recent Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Where else is he performing?

This Finsbury Park performance is very much a stand-alone show, and doesn’t really tie in with his upcoming tour.

This show is in July, and fans will have to wait until September for his tour, which kicks off in Liverpool.

How do I get tickets for his Finsbury Park show?

Tickets for his show are available, and can be purchased online from popular ticketing app, Ticketmaster.

Tickets will currently cost you £55 each, and will include a transaction fee which is £3.25.

Be quick, however, as when you select the tickets they are only in your basket for 90 seconds!

Who are the special guests for the show?

As mentioned, some very special and popular guests will be joining Ezra on stage, with the day being opened with a performance from the London International Gospal Choir.

What is a possible setlist?

With the tour not yet underway, there is no official setlist, but you can be sure that he will perform some of his new hits off of his new album, ‘Gold Rush Kid’, which was released on 10 June 2022.

Who is George Ezra?

In 2014, Ezra rose to nationwide fame with his number one single ‘Budapest’ which shot to the top of the charts in multiple countries worldwide.

The 28-year-old went from strength to strength from there, with his debut studio album ‘Wanted on Voyage’ - released in 2014 - went to number one in the UK, and broke into the top 10 in seven other countries.

The album performed well over the year in the UK, and ended 2014 as the third-best selling album in the UK for the year.

It wasn’t until four year later that he released his second studio album, ‘Staying at Tamara’s’ which was released in March 2018.

The album went to number one on the UK charts and was in the top 10 in eight other countries.

A song on the album, ‘Shotgun’ reached number one in the UK, and ended up becoming his first chart-topping single in the UK, Ireland and Australia.

In 2019, Ezra won a Brit-award for the coveted British Male Solo Artist.

In 2022, he released two new singles as teasers for his new album ‘Gold Rush Kid’, prior to the full release.
