Sunderland-born singer Emeli Sande to perform in London as she is to undergo an extensive UK and European tour.

Sande, who is arguably most known for her involvement in ‘Read All About It’ is set to tour her 2022 album ‘Let’s Say For Instance’.

The tour is a mixture of a full band Brighter Days tour and many solo piano performances also taking place.

When is Emeli Sande performing in London?

Sande is set to perform a full band performance in London on Sunday, 22 May 2022 at eartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney).

The star is no stranger to performing in London and previously performed in the capital at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Who is Emeli Sande?

Adele Emeli Sande, known professionally as Emeli Sande is a 35-year-old Scottish singer. She was born in Sunderland but moved to Aberdeenshire, where she was raised.

She has been an active performer since 2008 and rose to slight fame as she was fetued on the 2009 Chipmunk track ‘Diamond Rings’ which was in the top 10 on the UK singles chart.

In 2010, another feature boosted her reputation as she featured on the Wiley track ‘Never Be Your Woman’, which was also a top 10 hit.

In 2012, she performed at the closing ceremony of the London Olympic Games, and also won a Brit Award for Critics Choice Award in the same year.

Her first single was released in 2011, and was titled ‘Heaven’. She currently has two number-one singles in the UK, one being ‘Read All About It’ with Professor Green and another collaboration with Labrinth, with their song ‘Beneath Your Beautiful’ also reaching the top 10.

Her album ‘Our Version Of Events’ also sat top of the album charts for ten non-consecutive weeks and was also one of the best selling albums in the UK in 2012.
