Busted have confirmed they will be playing a third date at London’s O2 Arena as part of their forthcoming 20th-anniversary tour. The news follows the trio’s tour announcement last month (March).

Celebrating 20 years of the band, its three members - James Bourne, Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson - will once again be back together on stage as they tour cities across the UK, including the capital.

London Busted fans get to see the band perform at the O2 this autumn. They are set to perform two shows in September, with their third newly announced show following in early October.

The trio confirmed on March 31 they would be returning to the O2 Arena for a second show while sharing an additional five other anniversary tour dates. Now the band have revealed they will be taking to the O2’s stage a third time.

Busted’s 20th-anniversary tour: Band add second London O2 date

The band, which formed in 2000, will perform at arenas up and down the country, including the capital, this autumn in celebration of their 20th anniversary as a trio.

Busted’s first London O2 show will see them take to the stage on September 10. They will return at the end of the month, as fans can hear them perform some of their greatest hits on September 27.

Now London fans can see them perform a third time in the city as the trio confirmed they would be heading back to the O2 Arena a month after their first visit on October 10.

The group confirmed the news on Monday (April 3) as they also revealed another date at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena. In a post on the new dates on Twitter, the band reflected on the addition as they admitted they couldn’t "believe it" before thanking fans for their support.

Tickets for Busted’s third O2 date go on sale on Wednesday, April 5. Ticketing info is available on the band’s website, with fans also able to source them via Ticketmaster.

Unfortunately, tickets for the first O2 show on September 10 are sold out. There are also limited tickets for the second date on September 27.
